About Us

Cheryl and Mike met while attending college in Cincinnati, Ohio while they were studying music. In 1972 they left the US for Germany. Mike had accepted a teaching job there, and the Moores with their two sons, Marc and Stefan, remained there for 23 years.

During this time an increased hunger for God developed in both of them, and they also became aware of the obvious spiritual needs in Germany. After praying, they started a Christian coffeehouse ministry in Kaiserslautern (the American military call the town K’town). Later they worked with the inter-denominational Full Gospel Business Fellowship and helped to establish new groups for the organization.

One summer, while vacationing in the US, the Lord spoke to them: “German pastors and leaders are discouraged. Go and offer retreats for them. My only condition is,” said the Lord, “that you cover all expenses.”

During the next years many retreats were offered. As one leader remarked, “These retreats left an impact upon the spiritual atmosphere in our region.”

However, retreats by themselves are not enough. Many young people visited the Moores, needing a spiritual home. Eventually a church was established, “Faith Center” in Pirmasens. Today this church continues to give an important contribution to the spiritual climate of that town.

In 1995, Mike and Cheryl returned to the US. Mike continued to teach, while Cheryl joined the work force at a local community college. Around 2000, Mike felt an increasing desire to dedicate his life full-time to the ministry. At that time, very few contacts existed. During the next few years though, God opened faithfully doors for Mike and Cheryl to minister in different countries.

Most of their ministry is in Germany, but they also speak in India, Nepal, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Tanzania and England.
